Done in the Pop Art style, a photograph of your pet is broken up into basic shapes for painting. You can choose a variety of colors and designs to create a fun and bright picture that really “pops.” Paint one for yourself or create a unique gift for someone else.
You will need to email a photograph to firstname.lastname@example.org at least 72 hours in advance of the class. The image will be drawn on a canvas, ready to paint when you arrive. Only one pet can be painted per session and head shots work best for this technique. Please do not send photos with props.
Due to the time requirement needed to get the canvas ready, if a photograph is not received 72 hours before the class starts (Wednesday, 1/22/20 at 6:30pm) then guests will be refunded their registration fee. Registration for this session closes 72 hours before the start of the event.
We are a BYOB studio – you may bring in your own food and drink, including wine and beer during our evening sessions.
Please arrive 10-20 minutes before the start of the session. We will try to help late arrivals as much as possible, but if you arrive more than 15-20 minutes after the start of a session additional assistance will not be provided. You may try to catch up on your own or stay and paint your own design but refunds will not be provided and the session time will not be extended in order to complete paintings for latecomers.
GROUPS: Let us know if you are attending with someone else or with a group (individual names or name of group) in the “Additional Information” box on our registration form so that we may try and seat everyone together.
CANCELLATIONS/REFUNDS: Images for the “Pop Art Your Pet” session are one-of -a-kind drawings and once your photograph has been submitted and drawn on the canvas then refunds will not be provided. Arrangements can be made to pick up your drawn canvas at the studio during open hours if you are unable to attend the session.
